“Tennessee vs. Carolina Brawl†this Saturday, June 25 at Volunteer Speedway
Bulls Gap, TN (June 23, 2011) – The stars of the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series are ready to roll into Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, TN this Saturday, June 25 for a $5,000 to win brawl. The best drivers in the southeast will descend onto Volunteer Speedway providing a night to remember for all in attendance. With such a special event for the Carolina Clash, the decision has been made to make the race 60 laps to give the drivers more exposure to the track and the fans even more high paced racing action.
“We want to give the wonderful fans in East Tennessee the best show possible this weekend,†said Alex Cummings, Director of Marketing and Public Relations “We value the fans of East Tennessee a great deal and are excited about the Carolina Clash future in the great state of Tennesseeâ€.
Fans will be treated to the always popular driver autograph session which will be held at 7pm. Fans can bring their special memorabilia and souvenirs to be signed by the stars of the Carolina Clash and their local fan favorites at Volunteer Speedway.
The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series $5,000-to-win, 60-lap Tennessee vs. Carolina Brawl main event highlights the Saturday, June 25 racing program. Also in action will be the Fastrak Racing Series-sanctioned Pro (Crate) Late Model, “Gunslingers of Kingsport†Hobby Stock, and Road Warrior divisions.
Pit gates will open for all competitors at 4pm while the grandstand gates open at 5pm. The Carolina Clash drivers meeting will be held at 6:30pm sharp. Hot laps for all divisions will began around 8pm.
Adult grandstand admission on Saturday, June 25 is $15, youth (ages 9-15) $10, with 8-and-under admitted free in the grandstands. Pit passes and backside tier-parking $30, regardless of age.
